10000Nm3/h High Efficient Large Size Liquid Gas Liquefaction Plant LNG Nitrogen Plant Oxygen Liquefaction Plant

Short Description:

The Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) value chain relies on a sophisticated and highly specialized suite of equipment designed to enable the efficient transport and storage of natural gas. The process begins at the LNG Liquefaction Plant, the heart of which is the cryogenic section featuring large compressors and heat exchangers. These components work within a complex refrigeration cycle to cool natural gas to approximately -162°C, transforming it into a liquid and reducing its volume by about 600 times for economic viability over long distances.

For storage and transportation, critical equipment includes LNG Storage Tanks and specialized LNG Carriers. The storage tanks, both onshore and onboard ships, are engineered with inner walls of materials like 9% nickel steel and advanced insulation systems to maintain the intense cryogenic temperature and minimize product loss through evaporation. LNG carriers themselves are marvels of marine engineering, featuring unique containment systems, such as membrane or spherical tanks, to safely hold the cargo during voyage.

At the receiving terminal, the Regasification Unit takes center stage. Here, LNG is pumped from storage tanks and warmed in vaporizers—using seawater or ambient air—to revert it to its gaseous state. The regasified natural gas is then odorized and injected into the pipeline grid for distribution to end-users. This integrated equipment chain is fundamental to making natural gas a globally traded commodity.

LNG equipment is a key facility for liquefying, storing, transporting and regasifying natural gas. The main equipment includes: liquefaction unit: like a huge “refrigerator”, it compresses natural gas into liquid through deep cooling, reducing its volume by more than 600 times, which is convenient for storage and transportation. Special storage tanks/transport ships: Utilizing special insulation materials and structures, like super “thermos flasks”, they ensure that LNG at -162℃ remains in a cryogenic liquid state during storage and ocean transportation. Gasification unit: Located at the receiving station, it safely and efficiently reheats LNG back to gaseous natural gas before supplying it to end users.

The core advantage of the equipment lies in the fact that through this series of specialized devices, it can achieve safe and efficient global trade and flexible dispatching of natural gas, serving as an important bridge connecting energy production areas and markets.
